The Choice of Life

I was just looking through the YouTube videos and I came across a video that brought tears to my eyes; it's a video of Mark Schultz singing as song called "Everything to Me" and I just sat here and cried my eyes out....it was so heart wrenching! It's a video that shows how very grateful this young man is that his mother chose to give him life!

There are so many young woman that have to make tough decisions when they become pregnant. Will they keep the child? Will they have the child aborted or will they make the choice of life?

I can speak only from my own experience and I can tell you that if you choose to abort your child, the memories of that tragic day will haunt you the rest of your life! Oh, how I wish I would have thought about the other options available to me and not just taken the easy way out!

Yes...I was young, at the age of 17, but that was no excuse for the choice that I made, I could have chosen to give that child life. I know that God has forgiven me, but I don't think I'll ever be able to really and truly forgive myself for the choice that I made!

I am so sad that I went to Planned Parenthood, because they really don't tell you about other options. They just explain the the medical terminology of an abortion, telling you it's just a piece of tissue...but there was a woman sitting next to me crying her eyes out, she knew it was more than just a piece of tissue...oh how I wish I would have talked to her more, maybe we could have talked each other out of staying there an ultimately ending the lives of our children. That was so long ago, but it still remains a vivid memory for me and I regret the day it happened.

I can only say this to those who are contemplating abortion, 'Please look into other choices; I know it seems like abortion is the easy way out, but trust me it is not! That is a child within you and you are the one who decides if this child will have life or not, so please make the right choice, choose life!"

Watch this video and see how something you might think is a tragedy can be turned into a miracle! The choice of Life is up to you!

Your child is back with God and will be there to see you when your work is done here. The deceptions in this world make things very difficult. God knows that. He is fair and most of all He loves you and He will wipe away all tears one day. It must be hard to share this, but I can feel the love you have that you are trying to save people from the pain you've been through. That is a very beautiful gift you are giving.

For anyone who isn't sure when life starts, read Luke chapter one. The day Mary conceived, she ran to her cousin Elizabeth's house. John the Baptist was only 6 months in the womb and Jesus was newly conceived in Mary's womb. John "leapt" at Jesus' presence, a newly conceived fetus Jesus. That was Christmas Day, the day we celebrate God coming to dwell with man in the flesh. There is no question with God or His Word when life starts. God will always show a way when things seem too tough to handle. Read 1 Corinthians 10:13 and if you believe Him, then He will show a way for you.

Thank you Gina, your words were so comforting!
Isn't that neat about Jesus possibly being conceived around Christmas time! I just learned about that last week at Church! Wow! And that he was most like born around or on the very day of "The Feast of Tabernacles", or "Sukot"....Jesus,the maker of the universe came to dwell with us. The Sukot is actually believed to be taking place during the time that Joseph and Mary traveled to Bethlehem for the census...and they actually were housed in a Sukot, or a temporary dwelling place. In John it speaks of Jesus coming to Tablernacle with us. It all makes perfect sense!

I agree. God's Word is so perfect and He gives us examples over and over again. That feast lasts 8 days, on the 8th day babies are circumcised, so that is where the man, (believed to be the great teacher of Paul, Gamiel's father) had his prayer answered when he held baby Jesus before Jesus was circumcised.

Did you know that when the Bible speaks about circumsising a child on the 8th day, it shows how God inspired that is, because on the
8th day is the best time to circumsise a child, due to the fact that the clotting factor is at it's highest on the 8th day!
Isn't God amazing!
Peace
