Give your earrings an antiqued look

The most common chemical for making silver earrings have that antiqued look is Liver of Sulfur. This is a common and safe chemical for jewelers who desire to give their silver earrings a nice patina. You can take a little lump of Liver of Sulfur and put into a small container of hot water. It will dissolve making a dark yellowish brown liquid that smells like rotten eggs!
